I've been making more shelves - if I didn't what would Paul have to say about me? One shelf is for Shari - I took a picture of it when it was leaning against the table saw downstairs. This is to go over her toilet - It is installed now at her house even though it doesn't yet have knobs. They still have to be chosen. For now she can open and close the doors with tiny eye hooks in the bottom edge of the doors.  The other shelf is for our kitchen. The corner of the counter always got to be a big holding place with lots of junk in it and I want that to be a place to work on so I decided to make a shelf so that the canisters could move up out of the way. I actually made it, than took it apart and made it in another configuration - the first one was too big. The trays on the small shelf on the right hold the beaters for the electric mixer and measuring spoons.

  1. Genius! I love it. It looks very sturdy, but also elegant, in some ways. Very useful to have that counter space back. Everything feels better when it is clean and organised. I feel the same way after a good clear out at work and a filing session.
